WHAT IS ROCKIT BODY [PILATES]™?
ROCKIT BODY [PILATES]™ is a unique hybrid of pilates, cardio and weight training that uses the state-of-the-art Proformer™ and great music to create an exercise experience unlike any other. Our high-octane, shirt-drenching exercises strengthen, tighten, and tone while the body benefits from the lengthening and postural enhancing effects of pilates. ROCKIT BODY [PILATES]™ burns calories by keeping your heart rate up and jump-starting your metabolism. And, because our SPX™ workout is low-impact, there's no pressure on your joints or spine, and it eliminates extra stress on the body.

THIS IS MY FIRST TIME DOING ROCKIT BODY [PILATES]™ - SHOULD I DO PRIVATE SESSIONS FIRST?
We recommend attending beginner classes that introduce the Proformer™ and our exercises used in class. The workout is still intense, but the routines are kept simple to ensure everyone uses appropriate form. Our regular SPX™ classes can be attended by beginners, as well. Most of our new students do fine in the classes. However, if you have chronic back pain, painful joints, any medical condition, or have not been physically active in the past, it is recommended to speak to the manager first to assess your fitness level and decide whether a private class would be a better option for your first class.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I PRACTICE ROCKIT BODY [PILATES]™?
The workout is designed to work your body to muscle fatigue at which point you need to rest. Depending on your fitness level and the intensity of your workout, you will need more, or less, time to recover. We recommend three times a week to allow your body to properly recover and repair. Listen to your body, it's up to you.

WHAT IF I CAN'T COME TO CLASS AND I HAVE ALREADY BEEN CONFIRMED? WILL I BE CHARGED?
Yes, even if it's your first time. We require a 24hr notice before making any kind of changes to your schedule. A $25 late cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card on file each time you cancel or reschedule a class without giving us the full 24hr notice. Sorry, there are no exceptions.

HOW DO I BUY CLASSES, MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS OR PACKAGES, AND SCHEDULE CLASSES?
We use an online system where the member can be in complete control. You will be asked to create a profile, login, and password. You will also be asked for a credit card to keep on file, which can be used for purchases, as well as any late charges. Our automated online booking system can be found on our homepage at www.rockitbodypilates.com, as well as throughout this website. Once you have created an account, you can view the class schedule or purchase classes/packages/monthly memberships that are right for you. WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?
1. Socks with tread are required throughout the studio and for all classes. We sell Toezies at the front desk for a nominal price, if you don't have any.
2. Bring a towel as you will most likely sweat! We require towels in our RockIt Barre™ classes.
3. We have a water dispenser, but some students may want to have a water bottle instead.
4. Wear loose, comfortable clothes, that allow your muscles to stretch and your skin to "breathe" (similar to what you would wear for a yoga or dance class).
5. Jewelry is NOT a good idea. It may catch in the spring system, but it is your choice.
6. No cellphones during classes (please be respectful of others).
7. No strong perfumes.

ARE MY PURCHASES REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE?
Sorry, but all purchases are final, and are not transferable. Some of our memberships require signing a contract for auto-payments. Please make sure that you look these over carefully and fully understand the rules before signing them.

IS MY PACKAGE ON AUTO-PAYMENT AND AUTO-RENEWAL? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
We have packages, such as our 3 month package, that withdraw funds automatically directly from your credit card account on file and also automatically renew the contract with the same terms upon expiration. Meaning, that your account will debit automatically monthly, and when the package contract ends, it will automatically renew and you will begin another contract for the same length of time under the same terms. If you choose to end your package when the initial term expires, you must give us notice by email at least ten days prior to your contract ending, so that your contract doesn't automatically renew. Our 3 month packages are on this contract. So be sure that you are very clear what the rules are when purchasing your packages.
