I was blown away in my first Rock It Body class, this was unlike anything I had tried before! Coming from a varied dance background, it’s usually difficult for me to find a workout that challenges my muscle strength, flexibility, balance, and stamina all in one. Not to mention the good music and constant encouragement from the instructor throughout the session – I could finally leave my ipod in the car when going to workout! Some of the movements were a bit daunting at first, but not being the type to back down easily from a challenge, I decided to return, and I’m happy I did because I have never seen results so quickly! This is about as close to instant gratification as you can get in the exercise world! It hits so many muscle areas that are really difficult to isolate with the facilities available at your standard gym and in under an hour. Plus, the staff are all so friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The instructors caution you to listen to your body and know your own limits, and yet at the same time take no excuses and motivate you to give it all that you can, and then some! Words don’t do it justice though, you have to experience it yourself!

Body Reshaping.
It’s the best workout i’ve ever done in my life! I lost weight within one or two weeks, and after five session, my body just completely started reshaping and I’ve never ever seen that before. Five sessions!!! And, you don’t watch the clock when you work out. That’s the first time I haven’t focused on “when is it over?”

The most unique workout I’ve ever done!
The most amazing, fun, addictive, unique workout I’ve ever done. Love the studio (modern, clean, inspiring), instructors (incredible bodies, gorgeous faces, but sweet as pie so you can’t hate any of them, even though you want to) and the music rocks. I’ve been going for 3 weeks and have better posture, stronger muscles, more definition…haven’t measured but I’m sure I’ve lost inches all over. I can’t recommend this place enough.
40 lbs!
I’ve lost about 40 lbs since December, so that’s in about 4 1/2 months. I’ve also increased my muscles and I feel great. I love the classes…they make me feel really really good!
Try Them!
I have been working out at RockIt Body for over a year now. I owe my much more toned body to the wonderful instructors. Each one has a different style and different exercises so you never feel bored. In fact, over a year later I still feel class is hard. I adore this studio and will say this to all moms out there that think you can’t get your body back — you can if you come here! I have a flatter belly now and never thought I would. There is great variety here too. In addition to the Pilates, you can also try a RockIt Barre™ class or the RockIt Recess™ class. Barre is different than “Bar Method” as it feels to me like higher cardio. They have several classes throughout the day, and if you join you will figure out how to schedule ahead so you always get the time you want. Try them, you may never leave!
HUGE Success!
One year ago I was using a cane to walk. I have a cyst on my spinal nerve sleeve which causes extreme pain and inflammation – the alternate to surgery is to strengthen my core. My hubby actually turned me on to Rockitbody Pilates with a Groupon in April, 2011, and after my first session, I was hooked! I don’t even know where my cane is stored these days! I have had such huge success with Rockitbody Pilates that I would encourage anyone that wants to regain their spine – and therefor overall body – health to consider this workout. The teachers are great: they taught me how to sweat, and taught me how to breathe while sweating! My body emits odd sounds while I am working out, thus my desire for an “endie” position in the studio, but I am never ignored there in the back, only encouraged. The management staff have shown great kindness to me, and I appreciate their sweet spirits. The biggest bonus from Rockitbody Pilates is that I can once again do that great move that my hubby loves so much! Thank you Rockitbody Pilates!
Step Your GAME Up!
Five minutes into my very first RockIt Body session I was already feeling the burn. I think one of the most important aspects of tennis is your core and Rockit has helped tremendously with that. I now feel stronger when I’m twisting and turning.

I’ve been coming regularly since last August and have been rolling into the unlimited 3-month memberships, this has been one of the best things for me physically and mentally.

Joseph Pilates would be proud. This is my second week taking the classes there 3x a week and let me tell you this works out your entire body like no other. In fact, I can’t wait till the weather warms up so I can show off my newly toned booty and maybe use it to crush beer cans. During each class, I’m thoroughly exhausted and ready to throw in the towel after 30 minutes, but after EVERY class, I feel fantastic and at least 5 pounds skinnier. If I had to describe the classes it would be a pilates/strength/circuit/dance combo or…. PILSIRCUD. I leave class drenched in sweat, with shaking legs and exhausted abs (thank you scrambled eggs and endless lunges – my “fave” exercise ever) Ok, seriously though if you’re like me and have been hitting 24hour for years and not seeing results switch it up and try Rock it Body because after only two weeks my body is already changing. Note: You can always tell how effective a class is by looking at the instructors, and ALL of the instructors here are very fit.
Sweating Bullets!
I knew after the first class that it was the right thing for me. Sweating bullets and pain in muscles that had not hurt from anything I had ever done before. The class yesterday was a reminder of how much I need it and how much it can (will) do for me. The perfect balance between pushing me to the limit and understanding when I need to modify or take a breather.
Proud to be an American!
This morning, I was able to take my younger brother to my Barre class with me. He is 19 years old and currently serving as an active duty United States Marine. I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the interest and support that everyone showed for him, and I am really proud to be a client of a studio where people aren’t ashamed to say thank you to the brave men and women who serve. I just wanted you to know that after the class (which he really enjoyed) he said something that really stuck with me and I wanted to share it with you. He said, “You know, this may sound stupid, but you have no idea how good it feels when people say thank you. It reminds you what you’re here to defend, like your job really means something to people, and it never gets old. It’s just the best feeling in the world.”
Thank you so much for letting my little brother know that there are people who support him, he wouldn’t be able to do his job if it wasn’t for people like you.

I took Rock It Body up on its special introductory rate for one month, and I am very glad I did. I have already signed up for more classes. Why?
These classes are focused and challenging, and they are making a positive difference in my mental and physical health. The instructors give clear instructions and are in constant motion in order to monitor each of us so that we get the maximum benefits out of each of the exercises. They have lots of modifications at the ready.
They also set expectations that allow us to flourish and don’t limit us. This matters to me, because I am an older adult who is motivated to remain active all of my life. There is no pressure, however, to go beyond what I can safely manage at any point in time. It’s heady to see that I can always do more and aim to achieve it eventually. It’s been impossible to be bored nor have classes become routine!
Overall HEALTH is better!
I love RockitBody. I love the way I feel after class which is IN SHAPE! Its a hard class. I’ve been going for a year now and I even will catch a beginner class and still get a great work out. Since I’ve started, I notice the muscles in my stomach and arms are more defined, shaping of my thighs (hardest part) and overall better health; sleeping better and, most importantly, a strong core! I should also say — I greatly dislike working out. But, I have to as I have one of those bodies which easily gains weight. This is the only class/place that I have gone to where I look forward to going back! The instructors are great too. They will correct you if your form is off — very important in reshaping your body — and they are super inspirational and helpful.
Best Thing for Post-Baby Belly!
Lately, this is my go to workout. I have a monthly membership and it is probably the best thing I’ve ever done for my post-two-babies belly. I didn’t realize how out of shape my core was (and my abs for that matter) until I came here and now I am hooked. I can see results already after two weeks. The classes are 50 minutes of constant sweat. You tire one muscle group at a time and after class you can feel the burn and work for hours!
Respect.
I used to look at the skinny “LA” moms and wannabe actresses that took pilates and turned my back in scorn but I have a newfound respect for those ladies – this is an extremely good workout and I was sore for DAYS. Can’t wait to use my classes!
RockIt Body Will Kick Your Butt.
I went into my first class at Rockit body feeling confident. I’m at my gym 5 days a week and I have done tons of yoga and rocked it. I was humbled. This crap is hard! I have never done a more intense core work out! My first class was the longest 50 mins of my life. They played awesome music and was tough but motivational. I can’t wait to take more classes here. RockIt Body will kick your butt!
Definitely Bring a Towel!
I’m addicted! I’ve been taking classes for a year and it’s completely transformed by body. I’m longer and leaner than I have ever been in my life. The instructors are amazing and really push you to push yourself. I really enjoy Rockit Recess! It’s a circuit training class that really kicks your butt. Definitely bring a towel! Judie, the owner, is amazing and is hands on. She even joined a class this week. I recommend RockIt Body to anyone looking to get in shape and have fun while doing it.
Intense.
Rock It Body is the most intense class I have ever taken! I have weight trained, ran, kick-boxed, and taken yoga since I was eighteen (15+ years). RBP is all of those classes in one. I sweat intensely every time and the results are immediately noticeable. It is the one-hour of your life that makes your body Rock!
Spartan 300 abs!
I have had nothing but amazing experiences at Rockit Body! What I love most are the well-trained and enthusiastic instructors who make working out fun. The music also adds a nice flair that most gyms or studios do not have; it really gives Rockit Body that edge.
As a very fit person myself, a swimmer for many years, dancer, runner, and equestrian, I am no stranger to butt-kicking workouts. Ever gone to morning swim practice at 5 am? Well, this is the closest thing you are going to get to that kind of pain. Rockit Body Pilates gave me abs like those Spartans in the movie 300 faster than anything I have ever done before.
If you want to rock your world in all the right places, do sign up! It will change your life like it changed mine.
SORE ABS.
I’m not a wimp when it comes to working out and work out classes. I made the mistake of underestimating this class. I came in thinking – “Only 50 minutes?! You’re kidding me. I can handle barre class with no problem and 90 minutes of bikram yoga – this will be a breeze.” Big mistake. I got my butt kicked my first class. My abs were so sore afterwards, that I could barely do a sit up.
I Love the Classes.
I love the classes. All the instructors are great. I particularly enjoy that there are a variety of classes! RockIt Barre is always fun and a blast. RockIt Recess which has just started is high intensity and great cardio. The class I never miss is the 5.00pm Stretch and Tone class on Fridays at 5.00pm. The title of the class may imply a low intensity and easy class. No Way. This class is a great workout and you are sore all over especially legs and abs. For me this class is a great end to a busy work week and the start of my weekend.
Seriously Changed My Life.
This workout is intense and yet serene. The studio is hip, lively, and stylish and the staff is down to earth and inspirational. Everything about this place makes you want to work out – I’m always excited to get there and rock it!
The workouts are 50-55 minutes long, but I am never left wondering how much time is left – the time flies! They have a great sound system which really helps to amp up the class and the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and motivational. The class size is 10-12 people (10 in Redondo, 12 in Manhattan). The online reservation system is beyond convenient and very easy to use. There are TONS of class times and I guarantee you’ll find ones that work for you.
I am sore for days afterward but it’s a GOOD sore – the kind where you are satisfied that your muscles got the workout that they deserve (I personally felt sore muscles that I didn’t even know I had). The sweat-inducing mixture of lunges, core exercises, squats, crunches, arm resistance and stretching keeps the workout interesting (it’s constantly structured differently). I am much more toned and noticeably stronger then I was pre-RockIt.

I’m writing to THANK YOU for bringing such a great exercise program to Redondo Beach! I’m so not a gym person, so Rockit Body Pilates is heaven sent! I’ve been taking 5 to 6 classes a week for 6 weeks now and I feel great! No two classes are ever the same (even with the same instructor), so I’m never bored nor do I even glace at the clock. The instructors are so good about demonstrating how each exercise is done and then while students are moving through the exercises, the instructors are continuously talking us through and telling us which muscles we should feel working. They are professional and gentle when correcting our positions. I can’t say enough good things about all of them.
Anyway, thanks for listening and thanks for making my body smile!

Kicks My A$$ Every Time!
If you want an intense workout this is for you. I started doing this about a month ago and it kicks my A$$ every time! I have seen more results in the last month than I have working out for the last 2 years with a trainer. I sweat from beginning to end and drink an entire big bottle of water before the 50 minute class is over. Surprisingly, it works your entire body: legs, abs, arms, back, shoulders and I usually can’t move the next day. I love this place.

Just wanted to send through my feedback on the Barre class last night. I loved it. I love the pilates classes too but have been feeling like I needed to change it up a bit. I have always wanted to go back to dance class too so I like the dance element. My legs are so sore today! Thanks so much! It’s been the best! Love the workout!
It’s SO Good for Men
“What impressed me about the workout is that i think it’s so good for men. Usually men don’t think about doing an exercise like this. We think about going to a gym and lifting weights. It’s changed my body, I just feel better. My back, which has a lot of issues, is better than it was before…I would recommend it to anyone!”

Lost 10 pounds in 8 weeks!
Update- Someone told be that “blah-blah results” isn’t enough information. so i am back with some details: yes i lost ten pounds in 8 weeks… rockingitbody 4-5 times a week… but yes i was watching my diet at the same time. interesting thing – i haven’t lost any weight the last three weeks, just inches. i was in such a rut before, i will take all of this as happy progress. (why are we so married to the scale anyway?) i remember when my mother used to bug me about having good posture, suddenly i know what she was talking about because I have the muscles to do it.
